Up until recently, to me, 30 sounded very very old and very very far away. But few more years from now, I’ll be 30 and there’s nothing wrong with that.
If you asked me at 15 where I saw myself in 10 years, I would probably say “living in Korea, happily married to Jung Yong Hwa“. I was really fangirling over him around that time, so don’t judge me. Anyway, back to the topic… we all know that’s not what happened.
My life has been very sad and challenging these past few years, but I am extremely grateful for all the challenges that came my way. They made me a stronger person.
I want to turn my life around. I want to have exciting and unforgettable experiences.
So, here are the top 5 things I want to do before I turn 30:
1. Visit South Korea
I’m a big Korean drama fan. It’s been my dream to visit (and even live in) Korea someday. My K-Drama heart would be so happy.
2. Fill up my passport with stamps
My passport is so fresh, so empty. If all goes well, my journey to fill up my passport with stamps will start next year. I am so excited!
3. Write a book
If you don’t know by now, I am a (frustrated) writer wannabe and I really want to write my own book or novel ever since I was in high school. I found out about my interest to write when I was in high school.
4. Get engaged and married
My boyfriend and I are committed to each other and I would really love to settle down with him someday. We talk and made plans about these things, so it’s safe to say we are on the same page.
5. Go back to college, get a degree and graduate
I attended college for a short period of time but decided to drop it to give way to my younger siblings. Hopefully, before I turn 30 years old, I’d be able to get a degree and graduate college with flying colors. Fingers crossed.
If you’re under 30, what do you still want to do or achieve before then? And those of you who are over 30, what would you still like to experience?
