Thankful Thursday | Life in The Metro

Back in the day when I was really active in blogging, we have this group of bloggers who does a gratitude post every week and call it Thankful Thursday. I have forgotten about it, but was reminded again about writing the things I am thankful for by Mrs. Budget Tipster a.k.a Mrs. Money Mindset (on Facebook) from their blog, The Budget Tipster.

I know sometimes it is hard to appreciate things with all that we have going on in our lives, especially now. But it is a good practice to write down the things you are thankful for.

It's been an extremely tough week for me, but here are the things I am thankful for this week...
  • I was able to finally meet in person a previous tour client in 2014 and eventually became a very good online friend/big sister to me...
excuse my "siopao" face. 😂
  • I closed a travel insurance sale to someone who is intending to meet her foreign boyfriend in another country because the Philippine borders are still closed. It was my first travel insurance sale, yay! 🙌🏻

And lastly...
  • I was able to take my younger sister out on her first samgyupsal experience... This is her first time to come to Metro Manila.
I am bit sad and disappointed that she wants to go back home earlier than we had planned, but I can't force her to stay. I am just glad I was able to show her things in the big city that she normally don't see or experience back in the province. I guess she realized she doesn't like it here, especially because she doesn't have her friends around.

How about you? What are you thankful for this week? Would love to read about it in the comments.

  1. Awww. Balik sya agad sa inyo? I hope she changes her mind, I mean, I hope everything will be for the best of all. And congrats sa new client! Happy for you!

    1. Yes sis, balik na agad siya. Usapan namin sa December pa dapat eh, kaso di na makapaghintay si bagets.

Thanks sis! Cheers to more clients and sales. Hehehe ❤🙏🏻✨
